Nature and a taste for handwork are at the heart of fashion for Alberta Ferretti. who brought her idea of woman for spring/summer 2023 to the Milan catwalk. For this season, her collection expresses a nomadic journey of hues mixed on a light and fluid wardrobe.
Meadow green, amethyst purple, turquoise, tobacco, and burnt blend with natural colors on elongated shirts, impalpable trench coats, vests, and jackets dematerialized into handkerchief hems.
Bare skin peeps out under liquid panels, raffia or tinsel tunics, and dresses encrusted with macramé vines.
There are evident echoes of travel clothing, field jackets, blazers, and suits, filtered through impalpable materials. For the evening, all becomes precious with materials such as silk, chiffon, satin, silk and linen cloth, and raffia.
